Non-profit organization across Canada open their doors to serve their communities such as hosting programs, giving support, offering safe spaces, and uniting people together. Many of these organizations welcome large numbers of individuals while working with limited resources and tight budgets.
February is national Heart Health Month, a portion of every AED purchased through AED Solutions will be set aside to fund the donation of an AED to a deserving Canadian non-profit organization.
Sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) can occur anywhere and does not wait for an ambulance, the sooner defibrillation happens, the greater the chance of survival. Many non-profits want to improve their emergency preparedness but with tight budgets, make that difficult.
This giveaway initiative is AED Solutions way of recognizing non-profit organizations and removing that barrier.

How the Giveaway Works
- For every AED purchased in February, a portion of that sale supports the giveaway fund
- One Canadian non-profit will be selected to receive the AED.
- The recipient will be announced after Heart Month
Who Can Be Nominated?
- Registered non-profit and charities
- Community organizations and foundations
- Places of worship
- Youth, Sports and Culture Organizations
Organizations Must
- Located in Canada
- Serve the public or defined community group
- Have a suitable location and maintain the AED
