DISPLAY
The display panel on the G5 unit indicated the number of shocks delivered, rescue prompts, and a CPR countdown timer. It also tracks the amount of time you have been engaged in a rescue. The Smartgauge battery status indicator light is found on the front of the unit and will decrease as you get closer to needing a replacement battery. There is also a service light that detects the need for maintenance in the unit.

CPR FEEDBACK
This G5 AED comes with the inclusion of CPR feedback, a device that is attached to the adult pads that gets placed on the patient to measure the depth and rate of chest compressions. The unit also allows you to configure the CPR feedback to the style that best suits you. From advanced prompting with traditional CPR sessions (compression and breaths) to basic prompting and timed CPR sessions only. Note, CPR feedback cannot be used on patients under the age of 8 or 55 kgs, if you do not use the CPR feedback device, place it on a surface next to the patient, DO NOT attempt to detach it from the cable.  

A PERSONAL COACH AT YOUR SIDE 
The G5 AED is equipped with RescueCoach to walk you through many steps of the rescue! It will clearly instruct you on how to remove and place the pads on the patient, as well as troubleshooting if it cannot sense a connection. The unit tells you when to touch the patient or deliver a shock, as well as providing a CPR countdown timer. This unit also gives you the ability to choose what level of description you want in your prompts,
